Halide Perovskite
Perovskite solar cells (PSCs)
Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have explosively expanded since its first emergence in 2012. Remarkably, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of PSCs was rapidly raised to 25.5% as a certified efficiency in 2020. In terms of PCE, the PSCs not only surpassed other emerging photovoltaics, such as dye-sensitized solar cells, organic cells, inorganic cells and quantum dot cells, even before PSC being matured, but also become more competitive in thin-film technologies including CIGS, CdTe and amorphous Si solar cells, which makes PSCs successfully settle into one of the most promising photovoltaics technologies.
